Villarreal vs Barcelona
Spain – La Liga
Date: Tuesday, 2nd April 2019
Kick-off at 20.30 UK/ 21.30 CET
Venue: Estadio de la Ceramica (Villareal).

Barcelona is in line for another league title. They already hold a ten-point lead over nearest competitor Atleti, and with just 27 points to play for, is a massive favorite to lift the La Liga crown.

Going on, the domestic double is theirs to lose now. The team is rightfully concentrated in achieving the treble, the third treble to be precise, which would seem a strong counter against the hattrick Champions League by their archrivals.

With their European tie against Manchester United looming closer, it would be good for the team to post some wins and go into the tie against the Red Devils with a relaxed mindset as far as their domestic fortune is concerned.

Villarreal is just one point, and one spot above relegation. They seem safe for now, and with all three teams in the relegation zone under-performing, a boot to Segunda has no overwhelming chance to happen. But it’s football. We are living in a world where Leicester lifted the Premier League title. It’d be better for Villarreal to prepare some buffer of points to ensure safety.

Wolves vs Manchester United
England – Premier League
Date: Tuesday, 2nd April 2019
Kick-off at 19.45 UK/ 20.45 CET
Venue: Molineux Stadium (Wolverhampton).

Manchester United is desperately pushing for a top-four finish, and it would be a huge confidence boost for them, should the newly appointed permanent gaffer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, could deliver Champions League qualification.

The odds are slowly starting to favor them in that regard. It may be hard to believe, but Spurs have registered just one point on the board from their last five match-days. Two more weeks like this and the Red Devils would be comfortable in a top-four spot.

It’s easier said than done though. They need to deal with the furious Wolves, who have made it their hobby to make lives difficult for the traditional powerhouses of England.

Also, Arsenal and Chelsea are in pursuit of the spots as well. Fans eagerly look towards the results of the remaining six games in the Premier League.
